The Building on the Promise capital campaign carries forward the vision established thirty years ago by The Reverend Canon Ernest D. Sillers and grows out of the promise that St. Margaret’s makes to its students, families and community through its mission and core values. The promise that the education we provide our students will be of the highest quality. The promise that our students will learn the skills necessary to exhibit leadership throughout their lives. The promise that the years our students spend at St. Margaret’s will provide them with diverse and rich experiences. The promise that we will instill in our students a sense of spirituality and caring and respect for others.
St. Margaret’s Episcopal School is well known as a premier independent day school. As we look to the future, we must preserve what makes St. Margaret’s a superb educational experience and continue to provide our students with the best possible academic and physical environment. We have students willing to learn; we have outstanding programs and teachers; and we have a supportive community of parents and staff. We need new facilities and resources that support the continuing excellence for which St. Margaret’s Episcopal School is known.
The Building on the Promise campaign will be conducted alongside existing annual fundraising efforts to support our operating budget (Annual Fund), and sustain our commitment to important St. Margaret’s initiatives such as Special Camp for Special Kids, Tartan Scholars and Breakthrough San Juan Capistrano.
The projects supported by our capital campaign have been carefully identified and developed through our campus master plan and directly support our mission, core values and vision.
